Absolutely — customisation is a core part of the GYG experience. You can mix and match proteins, salsas, toppings and bases to build your perfect meal. Options include:

You can build a fully vegan burrito, bowl or taco by choosing plant-based proteins and skipping sour cream and cheese. Allergen and dietary information is available in-store and on our website.

Many of our ingredients are naturally gluten-free, including our proteins, rice, beans, salsas and guacamole. Our burrito bowls can be made gluten-free by skipping the tortilla wrap.

However, our kitchens do handle gluten-containing ingredients, so we cannot guarantee a completely gluten-free environment. If you have a serious coeliac condition or gluten allergy, please inform our staff before ordering so we can advise you appropriately.

Fresh ingredients are at the heart of everything Guzman y Gomez does. We prepare our food in-house daily, including hand-smashing avocados for guacamole, cooking slow-braised meats overnight and making our salsas fresh each morning.

We source Australian chicken, beef and pork wherever possible and partner with local produce suppliers. We never use artificial colours, flavours or preservatives in our core menu items.

Most GYG restaurants are open 7 days a week from 7:00 AM to 10:00 PM. Some locations in high-traffic areas (airports, shopping centres) may have extended or different hours.

Our Newtown NSW flagship restaurant is open Monday to Sunday, 7:00 AM – 10:00 PM. We recommend checking the specific location's hours via the GYG app or contacting us directly before visiting.
